The Story Behind Beartooth Brand
Beadwork is more than something I create—it’s something I carry. It connects me to my Gwich’in Athabascan roots, my family, and the generations before me. This tradition is something I deeply honor and continue in my own unique way.
What began as a creative outlet grew into something much deeper. In the quiet rhythm of beading, I found not only purpose, but peace. It’s where my faith and creativity come together and where I slow down, reflect, and create with intention.
Each piece is thoughtfully designed and brought to life bead by bead. Inspired by the western way of life and the experiences that have shaped me. My work blends tradition with my own style...never rushed and never mass produced.
Outside the studio, you’ll find me tending to our funny little farm, learning a new song on the guitar, riding horses, fishing the Gulf waters with my husband, or at roping jackpot cheering him on. Our story is one I’ll never take for granted—after 25 years of wondering and “what if's,” I got to marry my first love in 2023.
Beartooth Brand is for the woman who values meaning in what she wears. For the one who feels connected to something deeper. For the one who appreciates craftsmanship, story, and the beauty of something made by hand.
